Over the weekend, I made 16 cards in four hours! It really helps when the class instructor / card designer cuts all or most of the paper for the cards. I do the stamping, embellishing, embossing, assembling, folding, etc. Last Friday I attended Stamp Camp at Terry Bolender‘s house. She is a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in Kent, WA with so many incredible ideas for cute cards and paper crafts. If you are visiting this blog post for some Stampin’ Up! card ideas, please view the CATEGORIES button on the left side of my blog. Select the Stampin’ Up! category to see every blog post using SU! products.
Here are all of the cards I made for $10 that night with Stampin’ Up! supplies. Click any photo to see it larger:
I love what this card says – it’s so funny when you read it carefully and look at the owl’s surprised expression. This was a fun card made with the new owl punch:
The chocolate sprinkles on this card are shiny like the real thing! We used brown ink and clear embossing powder to make the sprinkles look more realistic.
I thought SU!’s chalk was like the Pebbles brand chalk or Stencil Collection pastels I use. I quickly learned that SU!’s stuff is different, so my tree got a little smudgy looking. Ooh, wouldn’t “Smudge” be a cute kitty name?
I don’t know what to use this card for, but I love the way it looks. It was so simple to make and I think I will make more cards with this simple, classic layout:
“An apple a day keeps the doctor away!” This was a fun card for when someone is feeling icky.
I took the liberty of adding an owl to the outside of the cage, taunting the birds. I should have masked him so he could be standing in front of the rope, rather than behind it.
Thanks for reading my blog, and enjoy your day!

I do not love birds but I love the new birdcage set. Cute cards. I the owl with the saying is funny – yes, Try not to look so surprised! I love the new embossing plates. I still haven’t cracked and bought a cuttlebug or Bigshot but I am close.

Thanks! I’ve become a sucker for birds & owls and I think it’s a really cute stamp set, too.
