Care for a Slice of Pizza?

I have to tell you about how I first met Christine David.  It was last July or August and I was looking for people in my area to make cards with.  I came across a website called “Meet-Up” and found that Christine used to have classes at her studio in her home.  I read more about her and followed the link to her blog, which led me to her YouTube channel.  The first video I watched was her infamous “Pizza Fun” tutorial in which she demonstrates the making of an adorable pizza slice card!  Christine and I met and became friends shortly after that, and she was tickled to learn that I’d found her online first and that I had made her pizza card.

Here is the video and below are two pizza cards I have made to thank people for treating me to pizza.  🙂

This is the card I made right after watching the tutorial:

My First Pizza Card

My First Pizza Card

This is my second pizza card I made, several months later.  I am more proud of this one, although I wish I hadn’t used textured cardstock for the pepperoni!

My Second Pizza Card

My Second Pizza Card

Thanks for reading my blog, and if this made you hungry for pizza – I’m sorry!  😉

Stephanie you are far more skilled at the Pizza card making than I am. Yours turned out amazing the first time and the second time! Absolutely impressive! I love the touch of sauce peaking through on the 2nd card.

Thanks Christine! 🙂 BTW, I just fixed the post and got the links and video working. You’re SUCH a talented card designer and it was fun to share the story of the first card you ever “taught” me without knowing me! I would have never come up with this card idea on my own.

I have a feeling I’m going to have to “steal” this design, or maybe you could do a guest video for me sometime? 😉 That would be awesome!
