Three Cards Made With One Punch

I bought a Christmas ornament-shaped paper punch last May so that I could make more floral corsages out of paper.  I was only going to use it for that purpose, but then I thought I might punch out shapes from Christmas paper to make use on cards.  Well, I gave in and bought an ornament stamp set that fits the ornament-shaped punch perfectly!  The stamp set and punch came from Stampin’ Up! and I wanted to share you three cards I made with the set and the punch.

I was on an embossing kick, so I inked up all my stamps in gold and embossed them with gold powder for a raised, dimensional effect.  To make things easy, I used paper and card bases from DCWV, plus some snowflake stamps from Close to My Heart.

These were fun, easy cards to make.  What took the longest was the embossing and tying of the stretchy gold cord.  Have a merry Christmas, and keep in mind that you can make beautiful cards very easily with a few embellishments.  Thanks for reading my blog!

By the way, I am really enjoying the Mike & Ike Holiday Medley candy I bought at Target last week.  I love fruity candy and these three flavors are delicious together or altogether in one bite.  YUM!
